Georgia Poplett is a writer, editor, and academic specialising in the history of postpartum psychosis and Gothic literature. In 2025, she was a finalist for the Deborah Rogers Award. Her doctoral thesis, combining creative practice with the critical medical humanities, was awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council NBCDTP Award in 2021. Her words have been published in Mslexia, The Mechanics’ Institute Review, Life Writing, The Bee, The MHRA, Lucy Writers, and elsewhere. She has consulted on her research for Netflix shows, National Theatre of Scotland-supported productions, and podcasts around the world. Georgia is represented by Imogen Morrell at Greene & Heaton.
